Exotic middle names help you make your baby's name more interesting...
...particularly if baby's first name is, for whatever reason, not quite what you were looking for!
If your baby's first name is already exotic, be careful.
Two "over the top" names together might sound a bit silly.
If an unusual surname is involved too, the whole name can end up sounding too heavy, landing your baby with a name they won't thank you for in the future.
A very plain first name and surname can certainly take the strain of an exotic middle name - just so long as it's not too exotic!

As you are thinking of middle names, write the whole name down - first, middle, and surname.
Look at it. Say it out loud. Does it sound good? Are the initial combinations of first/surname and all three names appropriate?
Check to see if there any possible spelling problems. And ask yourself... do you like it?
