Another name, and ranked 258, Ciara is an Irish name meaning "black."

Guinevere
From a Welsh origin meaning "white" Guinevere has herself produced one of the most popular baby names in the form of Jennifer.

Jade
Hovering around 100th place in the US rankings over the last few years, Jade is primarily associated with the color green, although other colors of jade also exist.

Leila
Of Arabic origin, this lovely name means "as dark as night" - and has featured in the top 1000 US baby names, with only a few exceptions, for the last one hundred years.

Ruby
Ruby comes from the Latin word for "red." Very popular at the beginning of the last century, Ruby is working her way back up the baby name charts again.

Sable
A traditional English name meaning "black." The sable is the name of a small animal from Siberia which was hunted for fur - and so the name became associated with the color. Sable cats, however, tend to be a shade of dark brown.

Tatiana
Of Latin origin, but very popular in the Slavic world, this name is believed to mean "silver haired."
